It’s Just That You Don’t Really Need That.

One of the most common mistakes that people make is adding the word that in their writing. (You see what I did there? I didn’t need that that but I needed the other that.) lol

If you want to tighten up your writing, just get rid of those filler words that you just don’t really need.

For example:

  • That
  • Really
  • Just

The above sentence reads better by omitting them.

(If you want to tighten up your writing get rid of those fillers words you don’t need.)

And another example is the title.

It’s Just That You Don’t Really Need That.

Plain and simple…

(You don’t need that.) or (You don’t need it.)

And that’s really just that on that!

BUT… sometimes you just really need that in your writing. So you be the judge on your on your own writing. Even an editing program may suggest to take it out but if you feel that’s what you need to get your idea across then keep it!
